New Life for Girls has developed a comprehensive program to address the special needs of women to:

  • Free her from her addiction

  • Restore her sense of self-worth

  • Train her to re-enter society in a productive role

Phase One - Introduction For three to five months, the student lives in a home-like “intro center” away from her local community.  During this time, she is given the maximum amount of personal attention and guidance from New Life for Girls' staff. She immediately begins Bible study and is given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
Phase Two - Training

Upon completion of phase one, students move to the 27-acre training center in Dover, Pennsylvania. In this phase, the Bible classes are more intense.  Emphasis is placed on re-entering society through self-discipline, academic and vocational training, and intensive counseling.

Another training center in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, is geared specifically to mothers. The women may remain with their children, and together they are loved and taught and guided in the ways of the Lord. In addition to regular phase two classes, these women also take parenting classes to ensure a safe and healthy life for themselves and their children.

Phase Three - Re-entry

During her final months at the training center, a student’s readiness to re-enter society is evaluated.  She is assisted in making future plans by her guidance counselor and the Dean of Women. After graduation from the program, she may choose to return to her home or to stay and assist in the New Life for Girls ministry.
